How do online classes work?

Each class is taught live by our instructors via Zoom conferencing. You register for a class as you normally would (see details below).

15 minutes before the class begins, you receive an email with a link to access the class.

Set up your mat, blocks, strap, etc. and log into the Zoom link a few minutes before the class is scheduled to begin.

Let the instructor know if you have any special considerations that could impact your practice (we’re happy to provide alternatives accordingly).

How do I sign up for an online class?

Log in/ create your account on our website (or through the MindBody app).  Select the class from the schedule and hit “BOOK”. 

Download Zoom on your computer or mobile device.  https://zoom.us/ (or the App Store).

We’ll email you the Zoom class link 15 minutes before class starts!

Can I use an existing membership or class pack to take an online class?

Yes! All previously purchased class packs can be applied to online classes. Simply register for your class as you usually would.

For unlimited monthly memberships: Send us an email and we’ll update your profile accordingly. Your plan re-actives the day of your first online class.  studio@cultureathletics.com

How does Zoom work?

Zoom is an online video communications platform we use for our virtual classes. It’s easy to use and free for clients to access. fifteen minutes before the class we’ll email you the link to access the private session. Click on the link and you’re in!

Pro Tip: Make sure you download Zoom and create an account before the class is scheduled to begin.

How do I download Zoom?

Mobile: Download the ZOOM Cloud Meetings app from the App Store/ Google Play Store. Create a Zoom account if you don’t already have one (it’s free).

Computer: Download the Zoom app from https://zoom.us/. Create a Zoom account if you don’t already have one (it’s free).

What classes are good for beginners?

All of our classes are beginner friendly.  We offer a range of classes varying in styles of yoga and intensity.  We recommend taking a look at the class descriptions to see what interests you the most!

Do I need to bring my own yoga mat?

Nope! We have mats, blocks, bolsters and blankets.  We also have change rooms/bathroom, lockers and an awesome store to shop for yoga gear!

Do I need to sign up in advance for classes?

We recommend registering in advance to guarantee your spot but walk-ins are always welcome.

What time should I arrive?

We recommend arriving at least 5 minutes before the class starts to get settled into the class.  New clients should arrive 10 minutes early to fill out a waiver.

What happens if I’m late?

We have a 5 minute grace period for most classes, however if you show up later than that, you won’t be able to join the class.  For classes that take place outside of store hours – please arrive 5 minutes prior to class starting, as the studio will be locked once class begins and you won’t be able to join.

What is your cancellation policy?

We have a 2 hour cancellation window for all weekly-scheduled classes.  If you do not cancel within this time period, you will lose a class from your class pack.  For clients with unlimited monthly memberships, we kindly ask that you cancel your registration if you know you will not be able to attend – we currently do not charge for no-shows.

Can I place my package on hold?

Only auto-renew memberships can be put on hold.

Do you have parking?

Free parking is available on both side streets adjacent to Culture Athletics – Rushbrooke Ave and Berkshire Ave.
